Alpari UK “Sailing Lesson" prize draw Rules to win an iPad Air and signed photo of Troy

These official rules (the “Rules") apply to the prize draw conducted by Alpari (UK) Limited (“Alpari UK”). By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

1. Eligibility:

a)       Subject to 1 b) below, this prize draw is open to any member of the public over the age of 18 at time of entry, whether they are an existing client of Alpari UK or not.

b)       Alpari UK reserves the right to verify details provided by entrants, and may invalidate and recover Prizes which have been won in breach of these Rules.

c)       The prize draw is not open to employees of Alpari UK or members of their immediate family.

2. Entry Period: 

a)       Entries will be accepted for the prize draw during the period between 11:00 (UK Time) on 3 April 2014 and 12.00 Noon (UK Time) on 3 May 2014 (the “Entry Period”).

b)       Alpari UK reserves the right to extend the entry period.

3. How to Enter: 

a)       To enter, contestants must complete the online registration form on www.alpari.com/sponsorship/campaigns/sailinglesson and submit their contact information.

b)       By entering this competition, you agree to be contacted by Alpari UK for marketing purposes.

c)       It is free to enter the competition

4. Limitation of Entries:

a)       Only one entry per email account is permitted.

b)       Entries from contestants who have used multiple email accounts will be ineligible.

5. The Prize: 

a)       The prize draw will consist of all individuals who have completed the registration form on www.alpari.com/sponsorship/campaigns/sailinglesson during the Entry Period. The “Prize Winner” will be determined by a random prize draw by Alpari UK from all entries after the Entry Period.

b)       The “Prize” consists of a signed photo of Troy the magician and an iPad Air Wi-Fi 32GB.

c)       The Prize will be allocated to the Prize Winner on a random basis during the prize draw. The Prize will be distributed to the winner by courier.

d)       Alpari UK reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal or greater value.

e)       The Prize is personal to the Prize Winner.  The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded, amended or changed. The unauthorised sale or disposal of the Prize is a criminal offence.

f)        All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.

6. Notification:

a)       The winner will be notified by email on 3 May 2014.

b)       Alpari UK reserves the right to reallocate the Prize if the winner is not contactable within three (3) days of notification.  

c)       Details of the Prize Winner are available by writing to Alpari (UK) Limited, 201 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3AB enclosing a stamped, self-addressed business size envelope.

d)       By entering the competition and accepting these Rules, the Prize Winner agrees to have their name published by Alpari UK in connection to the competition.

7. Liability:  

a)       Alpari UK accepts no liability for late or incomplete entries, or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner.

b)       Alpari UK accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered (including any indirect or consequential loss), or for death or personal injury suffered during the use of this Prize, to the extent permitted by law.

c)       The Prize is provided to the winner in good faith and may be subject to the terms and conditions that are prescribed by Apple Inc. 

d)       Alpari UK accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of the winner’s acceptance and use of the prize and compliance with any terms and conditions in respect thereof.

e)      Apple and iPad Air are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.  Apple Inc does not sponsor, support or endorse this competition, nor is it affiliated with Alpari UK in any way.

8. Jurisdiction:  These Rules shall be governed by English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

9. Date:  These Rules are dated 3 April 2014.
